The patented ProBax™ seating concept aims to maintain correct curvature of the spine, eliminate reverse pelvic tilt, minimise pressure under the coccyx, manage the ischial pressure points and limit pressure under the hamstring muscles whilst supporting the pelvis.

ProBax™ technology aims to open up the angle between the trunk and thighs, induce lordosis and reduce spinal disc pressure, allowing the body's weight to be maintained via the skeletal structure rather than the muscles.

A number of our chairs are now available with the exciting new ProBax™ seating technology. A J Ways has worked closely with prosthetist Donna Jackson and physiotherapist David Hughes of NuBax™ on the integration of ProBax™ into the A J Way range.
