The Ascot is a popular choice for someone requiring a reasonably compact, comfortable riser/recliner chair with a soft-cushioned waterfall back. The wooden knuckles offer extra reassurance when rising from the chair. They can also help protect wear and tear on the arms. The Oxford is more or less the same but with the firmer, button back. Both chairs are available as either single or dual motored risers and all of them have a full "chaise" seating
